Each day we are excited to see updates to get a glimpse of what you are experiencing. Just like you, it's hard for us on the home front to sum up our take away in a few words, but I'm sure we all have a mixture of pride, awe, jealousy, and longing to see you and hear every last detail (apologies in advance but you all will be required to repeat your stories countless times). This trip, which is the result of much effort from many, is a reminder that it really does take a village (sorry if I just annoyed the anti-Hillary faction in our crew) to make things happen. Everyone deserves a round of applause: Karen and John, all of the parents, students and teachers, the folks who provided financial support, the people in Tanzania that opened their homes and lives to you, and the siblings who stayed home and took on a few extra chores. Without each and every one of you, this trip would not have been the same. Salama safari, Michael
Thanks for your comments - this trip has support far and wide from our advance team in Montana and their supporters, the house sitters dig watchers and yes, siblings and parents at home Thank you to the parents who trusted their kids to this endeavor - all the kids and adults worked ao hard and all we did will change many lives, maybe ours most of all!
